Eco Club

The Eco Club of Asorphi Academy Higher Secondary School is a vibrant student-led association dedicated to promoting environmental awareness, conservation, and sustainable living within the school and the surrounding community. Guided by committed teachers and driven by enthusiastic students, the club plays a key role in nurturing a sense of responsibility towards nature.

Mission

Activities and Initiatives

  • Tree Plantation Drives:- The club regularly organizes plantation programmes within the school campus and nearby areas to enhance green cover and promote a cleaner environment.
  • Cleanliness Campaigns:- Students take part in campus and community clean-up drives, encouraging responsible waste disposal and plastic reduction.
  • Waste Management Awareness:- Workshops and demonstrations on recycling, composting, and segregation of waste help students understand the importance of reducing their ecological footprint.
  • Eco-Friendly Celebrations:- Festivals and school events are celebrated responsibly, emphasizing reduced waste, minimal plastic use, and the use of natural or biodegradable materials.
  • Environmental Awareness Programmes:- The club conducts seminars, quiz competitions, poster-making contests, and awareness rallies to educate peers about environmental conservation.
