Asorphi Academy Higher Secondary School, Pynursla Fine Arts Club

The Fine Arts Club of Asorphi Academy Higher Secondary School, Pynursla is constituted under the Meghalaya Programme for Adolescent Wellbeing, Empowerment and Resilience (MPOWER) – PACE (Play, Arts, Culture & Environment) initiative of the Government of Meghalaya. The Club serves as a creative platform to nurture students’ artistic talents, encourage self-expression, foster innovation, and promote appreciation for visual and creative arts. Through various activities, the Club aims to develop creativity, confidence, teamwork, and cultural awareness among students while contributing to their holistic growth.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Fine Arts Club shall:

• Conduct regular club activities for students.
• Promote participation in fine arts and other creative activities.
• Encourage inclusivity and ensure equal participation of both boys and girls.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and proper conduct during all club activities.
• Maintain accurate attendance registers and records of activities.
• Submit periodic reports on the Club’s activities to the School Administration.

The Teacher Coordinator shall supervise the overall functioning of the Club, provide guidance to student members, coordinate and monitor all activities, maintain necessary records, and ensure the effective implementation of the objectives and programmes of the Fine Arts Club in accordance with the guidelines of the MPOWER–PACE initiative.
